NYTEX Automatic Products Inc., was a
start-up company in Fredericksburg in 1991. The company was founded by
the Thuro family of Brentwood (on Long Island) New York where, since
1971, they have owned and operated Thuro Metal Products, Inc. The
company manufactures precision-machined component metal parts, and
specializes in the utilization of CNC controlled turning and milling
machines as well as multi-spindle, single spindle, and Swiss screw
machines.
NYTEX multi-spindle screw machines have the ability to use up to 3
